Therapy is probably mostly useless, I do not recommend it to anyone. Choice of how to lead one's life and societal expectation depends on their mental ability and aspirations. Containing and processing emotions IMO is also an integral part of mental ability and not something that merely influences it.

If people follow emotions rather than judging the world justly then fine. Overgeneralization and resistance to reevaluation is superior in many cases. If you find a just judgement more valuable at all or almost all times than societal status quo and its organic rules of status gain/loss and what is societally permissible at the moment due to that dynamic then IDK.
