In Poland, it is rare to find a school with uniforms (unless it is a Catholic or in some private schools)
uniforms were compulsory when Poland was under communist rule (my mom used to wear one in whole elementary school, she said they stinked like shit, my dad used to wear them too but for a very short period of time)
school uniforms returned in 2007 but were quickly withdrawn (hahaha!)
I went to a private but mixed school (there were disabled students there, including me, and students without disabilities), there were no uniforms because many students may have sensory issues (me for example), that's why
