I interviewed my grandparents once about their youth and lives and recorded it, around 27 minutes, pretty random, rough and pointless as I was in my early teens at that time. I also asked at the end of it what they wish to tell to further generations of this family, to great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. And if I possibly live long enough to great-great-great grandchildren too.

I remember grandma picked up the microphone and said a few sentences. This is the only remaining record of her voice on earth, she is on the other shore, grandpa is soon to join her judging from his health. I will play the recording as I promised. I have it backed up on 5 separate devices.
