i think Sonic 3 is the most fun out of the trilogy, but i never understood the actual obsession people have for them (not including autists. I'm referring to the actual games, not the characters), i thought they were fun but never to the point i'd get obsessed with them ┐(ﾟ～ﾟ)┌.
i just want to go fast, but they designed the stages so that they would constantly stop you in the most bullshit ways possible... never understood that. Do they expect you to memorize all stages so that you can dodge all the BS and actually run for more than 10 seconds in the Sonic game???

Sonic was never that amazing. The switch to 3D didn't kill the IP (completely) because it survived solely on autism and visuals.
