I feel like the constant introduction of new gadgets breaks the pacing too much. By the later levels, when you have most unlocked already, it manageable, but the process drags down the early game.
The camera also sucks dick. Too cumbersome to direct and not enough draw distance for a gameplay based around searching small monkeys
