The thing is, not that I am condoning murder, if he just didn't admit anything he would never have been convicted. The guy could have died just a few minutes before the boyfriend got home, there was literally no evidence that he murdered him at all. Detectives do this, where they use guile to make you think they have you dead to rights when in reality they have shit.
It's pretty crazy how many people get convicted of crimes when there is literally no evidence but thy confessed to it.
