The only thing worse than not having a job is having a job. I ended my NEETdom a week ago and already miss it. But I really want to move and I need to set up some kind of profession that I can find to live independently in a new state or country.
Being a NEET is weird though. When I have all that free time I can never find the motivation to do anything. Whereas I suddenly have some drive to do whatever like play games or read VNs or watch anime when I'm working. It sux that my brain is like this, but I guess most humans probably have something that makes them respond better to outside pressure... like when we were cavemen and had to wake up with the sun or be ready to respond to the habits of animals for hunting and fishing or whatever. If you have transcended this and can fully create your own structure for a NEETly existence without going insane from depression or loneliness, consider yourself one of the lucky ones.
