It's weird how people seem to get things about the past more wrong than ever when there's a lot more info about it. I feel like this comic is based entirely off general consensus on Twitter, (from the same people who are like 'actually I didn't like the Internet much back then, it wasn't gay enough.') and someone who did something more accurate would just be ignored because they don't mechanically tick off literally every (subpar) meme from the era.
