Same here. I also dig Touhou music a lot. I don't consider myself as a part of teh fanbase, so I don't feel any "shame" either. Why should I? There's nothing to be ashamed of.

I actually haven't played a single game in 10 years. I'm just to lazy to press buttons... for what? To feel that I've achieved something in life? Naah, such a fake goal can't make me feel good.
