It wasn't one of the first "walk around a forest collecting things before a ghoul catches you" games, Slender and its clones beat it to that by years and it was already a common theme in Japanese indie horrors before, but it's a lot more memorable to me than any of those mentioned. Maybe because I just think the floating head is cute.
