Lol I can attest to the other side of this. The West gets a lot of flak, but in actuality Westerners are the least openly racist people out there. The Asian kid in our school was a pariah. Everything he did left him open for judgement. We even judged him for doing the opposite of something we previously judged him for. (To be fair he did weird shit like letting his nails grow really long)

And I remember as a kid we had this little nursery rhyme that went like this.
Chinese! (slit your eyes upward like pic related)
Japanese! (slit your eyes down)
Money please!!! (hold your hand out like a beggar)
