The x11-free distros are so broken that the #1 question users ask is literally 'how do I install x11 instead'. Most games do not work with wayland in 2025, with severe rendering bugs like unplayably low framerates or constant white flashes in-between frames. Even though you are too clueless about technology to know this, you rely extensively on xwayland every day, but that's just a hack.
It's just like in the first days of KDE4. It was pushed everywhere, KDE3.5 was deprecated, very soon it stopped being in repos. Yet KDE4 was so buggy it couldn't function for more than 15 minutes without krashing until 4.13 or so if I remember well, definitely well within the 10+ range. Sadly, the KDE devs never learned their lesson with this fiasco, and only the sheer incompetence of the gnome retards gave them even a smidgen of a userbase. Now there isn't a single working DE for linux, with xfce probably the only, sad excuse for an option. For over 13 years they've had open bugs about the DE randomly dying once every ~5 days of uptime but that's never getting fixed either despite various suggested mechanisms for this bug. Still, it's the only realistic DE option today for productive, non-ricer use.
It's been a common trend in linux history to deprecate stuff and force users to use broken garbage. You seem to be a big fan of that so have at it. But I don't understand why it's too much to ask that you don't drag the rest of the world down with you.
