i do the same with my figmas but i like to buy them anyway. i like the model kits because they're more customizable and since they're not from existing franchises i don't have to worry about keeping them canon. the girl with black hair and bikini is a custom character i made out of the option sets. when i bought puni mofu mao she was sold out everywhere but i got lucky and my local anime shop got a few in. last time i was there i asked about puni mofu tu they told me that both mao and tu are discontinued i haven't started on her but i can take some pics of the box and contents when i get home from my delivery job
