after having three dead Acer machines I will NEVER buy Acer again
and I have friends who have Acer machines and they're all having weird problems, and the insanely shitty hinge design that they still use to this day likes to fail too

for contrast, I fucking gave in and bought a macbook back when I was in uni and it has been going since 2014, only needing battery replacements (and replacing the battery was easy back then) and I swapped the disk out (this one was annoying because it is proprietary, I needed an adapter)
said macbook runs windows and hasn't booted macOS in like 7 years

wouldn't buy Apple in this day and age either, least of all for gaming, but FUCK Acer
