Who uses 120W incandescents instead of 50-60W
Personally, I don't like LEDs because they break down within a year every time. I tried tons of very expensive brands, same deal. I read someone suggest the problem isn't the bulb but the control electronics that companies fuck up (presumably on purpose) and if you mod it to reduce current to it, it can last longer than incandescents.
But I don't see the point when I can just have a good old REAL bulb that dims smoothly without requiring special circuitry.

But my all-time favorite is flame light. Oil or wood flames make the most comfortable and soothing light, plus it smells and looks good.
