Gaming experiences are highly personal - there's a vast number of wildly different genres, and it's easy for people to get pissed off if they find a game too easy/hard, boring, time-wasting, too expensive, buggy, falsely-advertised, etc.

There's also teh fact that games often appeal to inherently competitive people, as well as those who aren't the greatest at socializing with others sweat2
