Well, I mostly say that because it's preferable to read the room and follow suit, and I can't say seasonal fits the bill, but maybe so long as the threads are about something specific about the show, which generates a proper discussion, rather than "totally not a general let's jerk each other off" type that poser-elitists on smug love so much.

Imageboards are simply places to post images and discuss. And serious discussions can be fun in their own way; the notion that they must be separate is a bit of a false dichotomy.
