It's true and it is a shame. I don't know what could be done about that. Is it just due to modern habits from other imageboards, which are so fast that any thread that doesn't go back to page 0 often is likely to die soon and thus "not worth engaging with"?
Or maybe because Heyuri is pretty slow so interests shift fast enough that old threads don't stay relevant for long? (In that case I think it's just another case of reason #1).
