Yeah i don't understand either, i'm guessing it was a result of one being teh latest release and teh other being teh first and older.
So "older = worse" in their eyes .

SoC also has WAY more underground labs than CoP which were some of my favorite parts of playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R... i also hate that about teh second game, its almost nothing but lame caves that all look identical, at least from what i played (and i think i already played like 80% of teh game...)

Plus CoP's protagonist is lame and it doesn't have a cool plot twist like SoC
