Are we really still with this "Muh, nintoddlers" thing here? Lol, many online worlds still existed and there wasnt only shovelware for Wii unlike popular perception, u also forgot handhelds(not phones), and like i said it was the last breath of many stuff, and was an interesting time for hidden indie gems(mostly the "vidya as art" but the supposedly pretentious and edgelord ones sometimes were also cool), VN and other wacky indie stuff, which, to be honest, i grew attached to around that time and became comfort together with mmos, so i feel even a bit embarassed because it is now mostly known for the shovel content and people with modern robloxian/tiktoker attention span couldnt understand what was surfing through these until you find a good gaem nor the people who were already in their 20s by the time who thought these were just waste etc
