For Pete's sake people, it is Grape Ape. Grape. Ape. Yeah, the voice actor probably could have enunciated better when doing his derpy purple goril-il-la voice, but I'm sure he didn't mean anything by it. If you have to try to insist that this show was pervy, maybe go after the episode where he falls head over heels over the big girl gorilla parade float. That's pretty pretty much like being infatuated with a blow up doll, right there. I suppose it was a different time, like with Bugs Bunny in drag. Speaking of, isn't anyone else sick of the whole Bugs Bunny as queer icon thing? When Bugs Bunny did drag he was the epitome of the "it's a trap!" type of intention that queer people are trying to get away from being stereotyped as. Bugs Bunny is not a role model, and he's certainly not a queer role model.
