Chiyo!
I like human naming conventions and how despite being dependent on the region it always comes down to divinity.
Abrahamic religions name people after God's power, glory and might, sometimes around nature but that is quite rare.
While nips and animistic groups name people after nature, natural phenomena and natural things.
Because nature is the most powerful order, a god without being a god.
Immutable, above all humans forever, all encompassing.
Eternal perfect order. That is the ultimate divinity because it is master over every king as well as every peasant that lived, lives or will ever live. And no king can rule over nature with his decrees! Therefore glorious.
The aspect of glory is power. And power projection; utilizing it - is the condition of darwinism that leads people to not only survive and reproduce but also rise and become successful beyond what is the survival minimum.
Masters of other people, masters of nations, and someone will once own the universe in the future when they outcompete everything else combined.
To be left alone as the sole master of all within the universe and become the closest thing possible to a living deity.
Chiyo refers to age. And age is legitimacy. It also means lasting long during which time you had lots of time for power projection because you are alive. Outliving a thousand of generations is also a glorious achievement from the point of darwinism - it implies extreme success and mastery of everything during that time that kept you from dying, even bending the natural order since it is not a realistic amount of time for one lifespan, not bending to nature of death, nature which is the ultimate lord - making that person seem very glorious and special.
Age is authority and rank because it refers to preceding others and natural order of leadership is the most senior first. Span this long is also socially glorious because since you managed to live this long you also managed to contribute to society proportionally long to your age. When you look in the mirror you see Thousand of Generations. Even if that meant that her lineage will manage for a thousand of generations it still is extreme mating success and mastering darwinism that stems from nature and it is glorious. Final mastery is divinity.
Kami are masters of nature only below pure nature itself. Chiyo has kami aspirations!
It is one of the most beautiful names that there are in my opinion.
Naming conventions always come down to portraying glory.
