can't give you a step-by-step walk through since i haven't used it but:
-enable the mysqli extention in ur php.ini
-install mariadb
-create a database user in mariadb
-create a database in mariadb
-configure fikaba's configuration file (set tables names, etc)
-run imgboard.php (which creates the tables)
