this plan of yours might fail if chatGPT cannot reliably give you the right answer. make sure you have access to the best model, because the dumber models are really dumb, and then also do some trial runs to make sure it can actually answer the type of questions you want to answer.
I'm a senior mechanical engineering student, for example, so it can only really describe the theory behind my classes rather than being able to do the actual calculations. but if you're taking just basic calculus or something similar to that it will probably be okay.
I also recommend the website https://www.wolframalpha.com/ which you can use to solve many types of equations.

another way this plan could fail is if someone spots you in the bathroom with the piece of paper. be sure to put it away as soon as you are done writing your answers down.
it's also true that when you go to the bathroom, they will try to take your phone from you. the solution? have two phones, and give them one! they won't expect you to have another.

additionally, I think it will take much longer than five minutes to do all this, assuming you're looking up more than one question. not only does it take time to take pictures, but then you have to upload them, check the results to see if they make sense, and then copy them down with... a screwdriver? why not use a nintendo DS stylus or a tablet pen? in any case, it will probably take 10-15 minutes.
