I think you're a good bloke for taking care of her for this long, but I'd be worried for what she could do if you two were to break up. Maybe you're into that? If not maybe try getting her to do just do more chores.

Don't drop her straight into the deep end by telling her to get a job or anything (or maybe do, i dunno her), but i think some little things with minimal friction like having her take commissions or maybe helping do the dishes after you're done cooking would be something that helps her get a little self sufficiency.
