Speaking of Linux frustrations, I had to switch to proprietary driver to pray game, but something went wrong during the installation and then the whole computer wouldn't boot, even in recovery mode. I had to press some buttons and boot into some kind of emergency terminal, where I would spend 3 hours typing in commands to fix it. I actually kind of had fun fixing it and felt a great sense of accomplishment afterward.

Well, after a day of using it I've actually grown quite fond of this layout and look. I'm keeping it.
