You hate the decadence of mainstream platforms, yet you are unwilling to put in the slightest effort to change the status quo.
>In the 90s and 2000-10s we had the traditional hackers who built up the majority of modern tech infrastructure in protocols most people now considered "dated".
>Okay, fair. Now, tell me, "most people", huh? Where are the hackers of the 2020s working now?
>Oh..
>[...]
>... You mean to tell me that the majority of software development is commandeered over [mainstream websites]?
>...That C autists also do this?
>...That the majority of video game modders also do this?
>...And that, it appears that the majority of programmers visible to the public appear to all be doing this even if it makes them look completely retarded to anyone who isn't on these centralized platforms?
A 17,000-word essay on the state of the internet is not "high quality". It is not original. Simply relying on "decentralized protocols" and an "anti-mainstream" attitude will never build a vibrant community. The true path forward lies in shedding ideological obsessions and actively embracing those "mainstream" people who are willing to create and build, and using that bridge to breathe new life into the web.

>Many altchans, modern forums, and generally most alternative spaces on the Internet have a very incorrect perception about what makes a space "Good",
>or, "high quality". They tend to be very rigid. They think words, words, and more words inherently equal quality 24/7.
>They acknowledge, welcome, and appreciate philosophy, but completely disregard and go against creativity, whether it's intentional or not.
Why do you think you deserve a "better Internet" if you aren't going to work for it? You reap what you sow.
