There's an ongoing case in America about a woman who strangled her three children to death, then claimed to have been in 'post partum psychosis' when it happened.
i.e., she gave birth and hated her children and her husband so much that she went crazy (supposedly). Anyway, despite having murdered her own three children in cold blood, the country is actually evenly split about whether she should be held accountable. A majority of American women surveyed think she should not be held accountable because her husband was mean or something, and they protest outside of the courtroom demanding she be released.
I remember in 2017 or so I was joking that the legalisation of abortion might make people eventually sympathize with executing your own living children...
