One thing linux sucks at: fonts. On microsoft windows fonts always look crisp, meanwhile on linux they are always blurry (just look at OP's pic ). Only after replacing all of the libre fonts with proprietary microsoft ones and changing a bunch of config files did my desktop become slightly useable (most modern webpages render weirdly naow).
