It's hard to say how I would spend my time.
I'm working on games that will take years to complete. If I have less than 2 years left to live. I would stop development on them and work on experiencing as much media as possible (video games, books, shows, etc...). I would spread my games assets to the world and hope it will inspire someone.
If I had more years I would get down to just working on the game, blowing money on hiring to speed up the devtime.
Either way I would quit my job and burn my money away if no future on the horizon.
