how,as if knowing when teh date of ur death - you will cease to live for teh present moment. You will always think of how much time u haev left, but in a sense, u might stop wasting ur time, but thats teh thing, wasting time is living by itself. Being "productive" is just a gimic people do to feel a sense of being proud of who they are.
