Infact, things like smooth skin (a younger person’s trait) is seen as attractive. Then there are some things like lack of body hair, or a more rounded / less defined face which are traits associated with younger women / girls which depend more on taste but are usually seen as attractive for women. I think a large part is to do with ancient male desires to have a partner who is fertile (so younger) and virgin (in the old days helps confirm their child is yours).
