I was raised by a mentally ill and abusive single mother who would constantly threaten to kill herself. I can't explain more than that, for brevity's sake really, but it had a myriad of effects on every aspect of my personality, including my sexuality.

Also I said "a little talk therapy" helped me but it was the many months spent introspecting when not talking with the shrink where the work was really done.
