I've never had anything that I could call completely paranormal, but I've had weird thoughts and fantasies that seemed close to "visions" in that it felt like something very foreign "coming into" my mind rather than being thought up inside it. Of course, that could just be a delusion, but the most notable happened on US election night in 2016 when I was living on the west coast. Obviously it was very high-tension and politically tense. I was in my (very left-leaning) university's cafeteria for dinner at the time. I was reading the apocryphal books of the Bible at the time, and I believe it was 2 Maccabees I was reading (I'm not a Christian, but I was reading through it because I was studying comparative religion). In the midst of all the turmoil I thought of Madoka from Madoka Magica in my head, reaching her hand down to me from a pure white heaven. She told me, more in feelings than in words, "do not be afraid of the world which will be suffering and going through strife... your mind should be focused on that which is higher, as that is your mission."
Message from a god maybe?
