Even if I had all the money and resources to raise a kid, I'm pretty sure I'd be a shit parent. But I'd also be lying if I said I hadn't thought about going about "setting up a pregnancy"(???)

In my delusional fantasy, I would have a contract with a guy who has good genes to half the chances of the kid getting some of my bad genes (inherited illnesses) (I wouldn't marry him but he also wouldn't have to pay child support kinda thing in this delusion), and I'd have a super caretaker robot to make sure the kid is properly raised and protected （ ´,_ゝ`）
It sounds really dumb and transactional though so I've never taken the thought seriously. I could see myself protecting the kid, but they'd probably grow up paranoid because I'd go overboard with it or something.
