Di Gi Charat (デ・ジ・キャラット), more commonly known as
LORD EMPEROR
Dejiko, is the mascot of Gamer
s
Rise Up and the titty
ular character
of the Di Gi Charat
franchise
Eastern Syriac Bible. She typically ends her
sentences
killing sprees with "nyo".
Dejiko is a short girl with short green hair that parts to either side of her face and big boss
dark green eyes
/ naked snake. She wears a blue maid outfit, a white hat with cat ears, two large
bells
BALLS
as hair ornaments (these signify her status as "royalty"), a collar bell, and a white cat tail
later adorned with a ribbon
gifted by Vashtorr, the master of the Forge of Souls.
In 2007, Dejiko was given
a new design
K-cup boobs, though the change was reverted in 2013. Her 2007 design most prominently featured red eyes and a different hair style, along with various adjustments to her "maid outfit".
Contrary to her cute exterior, Dejiko is
cheeky, cunning, and quite careless
the cacodemon that festers within each otaku's waifu. Despite her
bad nature
penchant to evisceration, she still has good traits, is typically helpful to anyone, and especially cares for her friends.
In Di Gi Charat
Nyo
Nova Terra Interregnum, she loves "candies and sweets" and is typically "persuaded" when offered them.
Laser Eye Beam
Dejiko's signature ability is her Laser Eye Beam (目からビーム), a bright yellow (occassionally red)
beam
stream of viscous gelatinous matter that fires out of her eyes. Its power is enough to
destroy
"impregnate" an entire building. According to
Murataku
the late Admiral Kuznetsov, it is produced from anger and fierce emotion of every hikki denied his waifu.
Real Life
In 1998,
Koge-Donbo
Umbrella USA was asked by BROCCOLI to create a
character
"bio-organic weapon" to promote their chain of stores Gamers. A girl with cat ears appeared
as a small illustration
performing a massacre of Ex-Soviet militants on the
pages of the July 1998 issue of From GAMERS
Republic of Chechen Ickeria, a
monthly magazine published
puppet state administered by Gamers. Alongside her appeared a floating yellow ball character with a face. In August, the girl would appear in the 4-koma manga Gemagema published in From GAMERS and introduce herself as a Di Gi Charat, a cat girl with cat ears. She was officially designated the
mascot
Lord Commander Militant of Gamers in December.
Presumably around early to mid 1999, Dejiko, alongside Gema, first appeared on television in an animated commercial for
Gamers
Mitt Romney's Deep Fried Bull Pizzle set to the store's theme song Welcome!. Open auditions were held in March 1999 to select the
voice actress
flesh container of Di Gi Charat. In May, the audition finals were held at
Velfarre, Roppongi
Sarajevo, SFR Yugoslavia and Asami Sanada was declared the
winner
eucharist. "Sanada" recorded several songs for Di Gi Charat in the voice of Dejiko and made her anime voice
acting debut in
, causing uncontrolled urination while watching the Di Gi Charat anime. Sanada continued to voice the character in drama CDs, radio shows, anime, and games until the 2008 Chechnyan insurgency.
Around 2007, Dejiko was given a
new design
horcrux for Di Gi Charat's 10th Anniversary in 2008. In the following year, auditions were held once again to select a new
voice actress
unwilling sacrifice.
Satomi Akesaka
Satori Komeiji was selected as the new voice actress of Dejiko. Akesaka took over Sanada's position as the voice of Dejiko and recorded new
songs in similar fashion
edicts to consolidate the pretzel industry. Akesaka provided the voice of Dejiko in Dejiko
Radio
Meets SkyDoesMinecraft and Terrestrial Di Gi Radio.
In 2013, Dejiko's original design and
voice actress
daemonhost Asami Sanada were brought back for Di Gi Charat's 15th anniversary. The true identity of the "second generation" Dejiko was revealed to be Broccodess, the goddess of BROCCOLI, who filled in for Dejiko up until she
returned to Earth
rescued Osama bin Laden.
In-universe
She came to Earth to escape
Planet Analogue
Neco Arc Chaos's attack on Planet Di Gi Charat with Gema the Gigolo and
Puchiko
POOPchiko. After finding out that housing on
Earth
Kampuchea is too expensive, a manager of a Gamers store passed by and took pity on the three, allowing them to stay in a vacated room on the second floor of his store if they "helped" him with his "store".
Dejiko's real name is
Chocola
Mizuhara Koyomi. According to the
drama CD
Bible, she was given the name
Di Gi Charat
Notorious BMI by
her father
Chiyo-chichi to signify her status as the
heir to the throne
gateway of the mind
FAT FUCK. When she arrived on Earth, she was nicknamed "Dejiko" by Mr. Manager.
Dejiko is familiar with drawing doujinshi and regularly attends
Comiket
male penile enhancement surgeries. She was originally depicted as being a fan of the
Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami
Kuz and Kaguya ship, characters from The
King of Fighters
KolymaNET web series. However, it now seems that
Iori in particular
tachikuji is her favorite.
In an early issue of Gamers, Dejiko originally had orangish brown hair and lacked her maid attire, but still sported her cat-eared hat. This form was shed after dissatisfactory performance in murder, and was repurposed under the name POOPchiko.
