This idea definitely has some potential. It could gain a decent userbase for "niche web" standards (I don't know how to call it, but sites like spacehey, neocities etc). I like it!

Those people will never find it in the first place if they stick to the same 3 platforms. I highly doubt we have such users here even. Only if someone promotes it there, in which case they may be interested but move on the next day.
