It was a pretty cool game. Though a lot of the time it felt less like a case of having to really learn the boss/enemy patterns and more a case of just grinding up enough. As such, I didn't find it a particularly hard game for that most part (minus learning to deal with those Blue Venus Weeds...). I suppose I could have used a bit more challenge, but it was still fun and appropriate for the season. Thanks to the poster here who chose it for me last time.

Though I've touched just about all the classic games in the series, the only other one that I played to the end was Super Castlevania IV. It was also pretty neat, though a part of me thinks that Castlevania III on the Famicom is actually the best out of the ones in the series that I have played. It was so damn hard that I never finished it though. What is your favorite Castlevania game? (Also I hate calling this series "Castlevania." It's DEVIL'S CASTLE DRACULA in Japanese which sounds much cooler. Fuck soccer moms and localization angry)

Also first reply chooses my next game:
Super Mario Bros. (1985)
Chrono Trigger (1995)
Final Fantasy VII (1997)
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998)
Metal Gear Solid (1998)
Silent Hill (1999)
Half-Life 2 (2004)
Shadow of the Colossus (2005)
Fallout 3 (2008)
Hollow Knight (2017)
