Pop_OS! has a problem with being Ubuntu-based, so package management is all over the place.... HOWEVERRRR it is also the birthplace of COSMIC, which is already a better desktop environment than GNOME and is shaping up to be the second best desktop environment after KDE.... So I'd absolutely recommend it for power-users who do a lot of work or stuff like 3DCG & programming

It's also quite secure for a desktop environment, full adoption of Wayland portalling & entirely written in memory-safe languages, so feds can't take advantage of RCEs in public WiFi to keylog ur poop&shit and find out who you are and where you live
