I ran two disk checking tools on the SSD, one that's built into Windows and another from the BIOS and both found no problems. Could a CPU or RAM problem be corrupting files on the SSD somehow? The CPU cooler died not long ago so the CPU was running at up to 100 celcius for a little while before I noticed and limited it to <1GHz from its usual >5GHz to cool it down while waiting for a new cooler to ship. It automatically shut off once when it reached 100 celcius so it should've never gone above 100. The option in the BIOS to auto shut off when temps get too high was always enabled.
