It's painful. This is my main regret, especially with things I made myself that actually saw some use. I have deleted my 4chan folders numerous times since 2012, when I suddenly get the feeling I'm going to die and my family will look at my shit. What I don't remove is my anime, not even ones I found shitty. Once downloaded they are there for safe keeping. I get a new external drive every four years or so and copy it all over because I'm not /g/ enough to do it some more intelligent way. My first external from 2013 is actually still going ( ´ω`)
