it's better to cosplay as a character you're knowledgeable of, and if you're fat it's going to look awful no matter what so you may as well make a comically low effort costume out of cardboard, paper plates, cheap markers, rubber bands etc. so at least some people can have a good laugh looking at you instead of disgust being their only reaction.
