i haven't heard of a single instance of cheating irl that's even 1/10 as sad as the stuff in ntr, so i dont really feel much outrage at that.
like wow you got lonely, cheating out of emotion, thats nothing, report back when your personality completely fucking changes to the point it overshadows any single happy moment you've had with your boyfriend just because you got raped by an old man

on another note, you should probably tell your boyfriend, i think being lied about being cheated on would make me sadder than the actual cheating itself.
