I'm definitely pretty interested.
It isn't quite Shirow's style, his work has more elaborate coloration, but it is a decent throwback aesthetic for other 80s-90s OVA while still looking modern.

As an adaptation of the manga, I really am curious of the reception, if it is an adaptation of the manga.
The manga has been picked and prodded by every anime version of GITS made so far, and almost every good idea in it has been used somehow at some time.
What is left in the original that is new for people other than some early gags about Motoko being a cocky dickhead? I like the manga a lot, but I'm also someone that read it before I watched the films/tv anime.
Sometimes something can be so influential that it ceases to feel original when adapted later.
