wow, the anime actually looks really good. i'm surprised. i haven't seen it in action, but from the screenshots it looks nice. i didn't think they'd be able to do asano's art style any justice in anime form. cool to be proven wrong, at least in the stills regard. i never did finish this manga, but i got pretty close. i recommend checking out the manga too, asano's art style is something else. and if you want depressing shit, check out oyasumi punpun. it's by the same guy. that's a classic. he has a knack for making realistic yet completely outlandish characters. the parts of ourselves we hide from ourselves and others. it's great stuff.
