i can't exactly remember. i don't think they did. after the chimera ant arc, he hasn't been mentioned since, and i don't recall if the manga went into more detail than the anime did in the scenes he was in, it's been a while since i've read. he might end up coming up again later on, but who knows. it won't be for quite a while i can tell you that. the arc that's happening now is really interesting though. i can't wait to see if what happens on the ship is as drastic as i think it's going to be. togashi doesn't usually disappoint in that regard. he finally started publishing chapters again after a couple years. said it was gonna happen last year, but ended up starting up again in october this year i think it was. i've only read one of them so far, i should really check up again.

overall the current arc is pretty boring, and the writing is kind of lackluster in my eyes at most parts, but the anticipation for what will happen keeps me intrigued. though there are two characters who i find very interesting, the scenes involving them and their relationship in general is like a horror story. theta and the prince she is working with. that is one sinister motherfucker. i don't know if that's exactly spoilers, but just in case.
