mai memory is fuzzy but it may haev been explained in teh PS game and/or EoE. sadly this is the case with a lot of eva explanations is that some are scattered in these adaptations/spin-offs instead of the main series... But in teh end its satisfying once you figure out wat teh fuk is happening
