i watched it very recently and i expected a lot more mecha fights but the actual focus of the anime was something else
i liked it overall, the evas are cool as fuck, asuka>reimu, confusing ending but i kind of like the type of ending that doesnt give you all the answers
my only criticism is that shinji is kind of a little bitch
