i am a whistleblower who works in aviation and know many other people who work in aviation around the world and these are the crashes i think that are imminent (i give 70-80% shot of happening by the end of the decade.)

air france and other french airlines like french bee still have terrible crm and cockpit culture. even after the bea was suppost to fix everything after air france 447 its still pretty bad. air france almost repeated af447 back in 2022 with one of their 777s. they also had a close call with a fuel leak on an a330 back in 2020 not following proper fuel leak procedure.

the a320 has had some flight control issues causing sudden nose dives. this month it happened to a jetblue a320 and last month it happened on an airarabia a320.

russian aviation has had a severe issue with counterfit parts ever since the war in ukraine and the subsequent sanctions. i will say this will worst affect their a320neos since those parts are in very high demand.

the middle eastern carriers have had very lax hiring rules to support their rapid growth and have terrible working conditions for their pilots/flight attendents. i think it is only a matter of time until one of those carriers has a crash. the UAE already experienced the consequences of this with the crash of flydubai 981 and emirates 521 back in 2016. my guess is it will happen to one of the other carriers in the area like qatar, saudia, or airarabia

a ground collision or mid air collision is bound to happen at EWR. they have had many close calls in the past and the atc system keeps glitching. this is in addition to both being in the busiest airspace in the world and being understaffed.

not really specific but i also wanted to add that during covid many planes were stored improperly and without proper maintenance. i expect some of the issues with those badly stored/maintained planes during covid will start to rear their heads this decade. southwest already had an issue with one of their max 8s experiencing dutch roll due to a vertical stabilizer that was damaged from poor covid storage.
