I fear global warming too. I love the snow and cold and am very sad that there's less of it (yes, it can be annoying to shovel, but what is better than an onsen episode in the cold snow?). But realistically, it probably won't wipe out civilization. Even people in the hottest places on earth like Kuwait find ways to live comfortably.
